The CDL Driver position involves operating large company vehicles, including dump trucks, flatbeds, tri-axels, tankers, and other company CDL vehicles to and on various company construction sites, while doing so in a safe and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Operate various commercial vehicles in strict compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety protocols.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of assigned vehicles, identifying and reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
- May assist with loading and unloading materials on construction sites, following safe practices and using appropriate equipment when necessary.
- Care for company machines/vehicles/equipment/tools.
- Keep working sites clean of all unused/waste materials and ensure all equipment is stored in a safe and secure manner.
- Ensure practice of safety standards in accordance with company policies and OSHA.
- Willingness to perform and learn different aspects of the Construction Laborer position.

- May occasionally be required to use a computer with keyboard, telephone, or handheld mobile device for extended periods of time, and other equipment/machinery/vehicles as needed.
- Will frequently be exposed to risk of accident and/or unpleasant elements (e.g., extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, loud noises, heights, uneven work surfaces, and hazardous substances).
- Will occasionally be required to lift, push, pull, and carry heavy items and materials.
- Ability to stand, sit, walk, climb, bend, stoop, kneel, and crawl for extended periods or when needed.
- Ability to effectively communicate in, and understand, English.
- Required to utilize personal protective equipment (e.g., hard hat, safety glasses & boots) at appropriate times.
- Must be available to work varied shifts (days, nights, weekends).
- Willingness to travel for extended periods of time.
- High school diploma or equivalent- Preferred.
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) with a clean driving record (endorsements may vary depending on the specific vehicles driven).
