Frontline Cashier

The role of the cashier is to warmly welcome and assist patrons in line with Que For the People's exceptional service standards while effectively managing customer flow. The cashier embodies hospitality, being approachable, genuine, and engaging, while also being efficient and precise to guarantee an outstanding experience for every guest.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicates clearly and effectively with customers both in person and via phone, ensuring transparency and clarity using designated language.
• Maintains a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all areas are well-stocked.
• Completes assigned side tasks as needed.
• May assist customers with their orders, app downloads, curbside pickups, and more.
• Adheres to safe food and beverage handling practices in compliance with local health regulations.

• Previous experience in a high-volume, casual dining or similar service environment is preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be at least 18 years of age (unless legally permitted otherwise).
• High energy and stamina are essential; able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Capable of standing and walking for extended periods, up to 10 hours a day.
• Able to lift and carry items weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Demonstrates composure and effectiveness under pressure.
• Flexible availability for shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions and meet company standards with reasonable accommodations.
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written, are required.
