The RRT is responsible for executing straightforward patient care tasks specific to their specialty, adhering to established medical protocols, physician directives, and departmental guidelines. This role serves as a vital resource for hospital personnel, offering insights into alternative methodologies within the Respiratory Care Department.

Team Collaboration

As a member of both the Care Team and Support Team, the RRT plays a crucial role in achieving patient care objectives outlined in the care pathway. This position may involve supervising other Respiratory Therapists, Technicians, and students, particularly when fulfilling 'Senior Therapist' duties.
