We are seeking a skilled Catering Operations Manager to join our team at Compass Group, North America. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of catering services, including coordinating staff schedules, preparing and serving food, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Catering Staff Schedules: Determine workload requirements from catering orders and meet with function group leaders to discuss setup arrangements.
  • Prepare and Serve Food: Prepare and serve food at scheduled functions under the supervision of the Catering Director.
  • Deliver Food and Beverages: Assemble and deliver food and supplies to scheduled locations.
  • Provide Exceptional Customer Service: Interact with customers and resolve complaints in a service-oriented manner.
  • Maintain Sanitation and Orderliness: Maintain sanitation and orderliness of all equipment, supplies, and utensils.
Requirements
  • Catering Experience: A valid driver's license may be required. Must possess or able to obtain a valid food handler's permit and/or alcohol servers permit where required by state law.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to interact with customers and colleagues.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills are necessary to coordinate catering operations and meet deadlines.
