Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Psychiatric Unit

We are committed to delivering exceptional patient care and are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team on the Medical-Psychiatric Unit.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care, demonstrating knowledge and understanding of psychiatric diseases and treatment modalities.
  • Utilize psychotherapeutic interventions to assist patients in regaining or improving their coping abilities and preventing further disability.
  • Identify and report at-risk behavior, including suicidal, homicidal, seizure, pain, fall, elopement, and other risk factors.
  • Collaborate with the multi-disciplinary team to provide a safe and supportive environment for patients.
  • Implement special patient precautions, including safety checks, close observation, and constant observation 1:1.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited and/or approved practical nurse program.
  • Current license as a practical nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Current certification in CPR required.
  • 2-4 years experience in healthcare and nursing services, with strong preference for experience in psychiatric care.
