The County of Riverside's Diagnostic Imaging Department is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team in Moreno Valley. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and comfort of patients undergoing computed tomography scans.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Explain procedures to patients and their families, providing clear and concise information.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, performing quality assurance checks to ensure optimal performance.
- Administer contrast media and other medications as prescribed by licensed practitioners.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Completion of an AMA-approved Diagnostic Radiologic Technology training program.
- One year of hospital CT experience preferred.
- Current California Radiologic Technologist License, Fluoroscopy Permit, ARRT Advanced-level certification in Radiography and CT, Venipuncture certification, and BLS Certification by AHA.
