Job Summary

The Computerized Tomography (CT) Technologist plays a vital role in the diagnostic imaging department at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital. This position requires a skilled and detail-oriented individual to perform prescribed CT scan procedures and exams on patients, ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT scan procedures and exams on patients, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
  • Coordinate patient flow and activities of the CT scanner, ensuring efficient and effective use of resources.
  • Ensure the ALARA principle is followed for all exams, minimizing radiation exposure to patients.
  • Perform related duties as assigned, including maintaining equipment and supplies.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care.
Requirements
  • Completion of an A.M.A. approved school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Certified Radiologic Technologist in the State of California in good standing.
  • BLS Certification required.
  • ARRT in Radiology, with CT ARRT preferred.
  • At least six months to one year of prior experience as a CT Technologist.
