Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance department, you will play a vital role in ensuring that all products meet our established standards for reliability and workmanship.

Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of output samples using industry-standard methods, including comparisons to standards, measurements, and functional testing.
  • Verify that assemblies or production lines adhere to established procedures and comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Review blueprints, electrical schematics, and specifications to identify any deviations from produced goods and document findings in inspection reports.
  • Maintain accurate records of inspection results, summarize reworks and waste, and input data into our quality database.
  • Assist in training production teams on quality control measures to enhance product excellence.
  • Promote process improvements and suggest enhancements to the production process.
  • Ensure equipment is safe and calibrated correctly by following calibration requirements and reporting any issues.
  • Engage in ongoing education and training to stay updated on industry best practices and company standards.
Requirements
  • An Associates degree is required; one year of experience in electrical inspection and testing is essential.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration and documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills are required to identify and resolve quality control issues.
  • A keen attention to detail is essential for maintaining high-quality products.
  • Basic computer and math skills are necessary for calibrating and measuring specifications.
  • The ability to use measuring devices such as gauges, meters, calipers, and computers is required.
  • In-depth understanding of company standards and familiarity with federal and industry regulations is essential.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of UL codes and best practices is required.
  • Blueprint and electrical schematic reading capabilities are essential for this role.
  • Documentation and reporting skills are necessary for maintaining accurate records.
  • Teamwork and collaboration are crucial for success in this position.
  • A growth mindset with the ability to adapt to new challenges is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two plus years of experience in electrical inspection and testing is preferred.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent work experience is desirable.
  • Experience in an ISO environment and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, we provide comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, HSA, term life, AD&D, STD, LTD, 401K, profit sharing, and ESOP contributions.
