Key Responsibilities- Manage and supervise produce department operations, including receiving, stocking, and displaying products.
- Ensure accurate and efficient inventory management, including tracking and reporting on inventory levels and losses.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve sales and customer satisfaction in the produce department.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
- Train and develop produce team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their jobs effectively.
- Monitor and maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety policies and procedures.
- 1 year of work experience in a produce or grocery store environment.
- Ability to read, write, communicate, and understand in order to complete job duties in a satisfactory manner and to comply with company policies and safety regulations.
- Ability to use, or learn to use, the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
- Ability to perform all job functions safely.
- Ability to meet the company performance standards for the job, including regular attendance.
- Ability to adhere to and direct all food safety requirements for the produce department.
- Ability to wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes approved for this job.
- Keyboarding skills.
- Valid specialty licenses, certificates, or permits required for the position.
- Shift hours: minimum 8-hour shifts.
- Stand 55%, sit 0%, walk 45%.
- Job cycles: continual.
