Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. The therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients in our residential treatment program, supporting their journey toward recovery and improved mental health. The ideal candidate is skilled in trauma-informed care, culturally competent, and experienced in working with diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs, strengths, and treatment goals.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and the care team.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all clinical activities in compliance with organizational and legal standards.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members, including psychiatrists, case managers, and support staff, to ensure continuity of care.
  • Educate clients and their families on mental health conditions, coping strategies, and available resources.
  • Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and clinical supervision as required.

We estimate this position's salary to be around $65,000 - $85,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.


Qualifications:
  • Master's or doctoral degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field.
  • Current and active licensure (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or equivalent) in the state of North Carolina.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapy in a clinical or residential setting, preferred.
  • Expertise in evidence-based practices such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, or motivational interviewing is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality standards.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends if needed.
