Logistics Operations Specialist Job Description

Summary/Objective
The Logistics Operations Specialist is tasked with overseeing inventory management, processing shipments, and ensuring efficient order fulfillment while addressing any related challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process incoming shipments and manage inventory levels
  • Oversee material handling and inventory oversight
  • Facilitate shipping and receiving operations
  • Pack and unpack merchandise as needed
  • Monitor and track order shipments
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization within the warehouse
  • Conduct clerical tasks including data management
  • Lift and transport packages weighing up to 50 pounds or more

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent educational background
  • At least 6 months of relevant experience in a similar role
  • Forklift certification is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively

Work Environment
This role is situated in a warehouse setting, with provisions available for individuals with disabilities.

Physical Requirements
The individual must be capable of standing, walking, lifting heavy items, and possess specific visual capabilities.
