Key Responsibilities

  • Verifying physician orders and ensuring procedure accuracy
  • Operating equipment to complete imaging procedures according to protocol
  • Reviewing patient images prior to transmission to ensure diagnostic quality standards
  • Assisting in departmental operations, including inventory, staff schedules, and equipment maintenance

Requirements

  • Completion of an approved radiologic technology program
  • Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or eligibility for registration within 90 days of employment
  • Current unrestricted license in the state of practice and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Proficiency in using computers, software, and web-based applications
