We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Math Instructor/Tutor to join our team at Mathnasium of Wellington. As a Math Instructor, you will play a vital role in creating an engaging and productive learning experience for our students.
Job Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional instruction and tutoring services to students, fostering a love for mathematics and a deep understanding of its concepts.
- Develop positive relationships with parents, establishing trust and confidence in our program.
- Stay up-to-date with digital educational materials and processes, ensuring a seamless learning experience.
- Teach in-center, online, and/or hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices, which include individualized instruction in a group setting.
- Assess students' progress throughout instructional sessions, collaborating with team members to provide the best possible experience for students.
- Evaluate, grade, and correct student work and homework, providing constructive feedback.
- Maintain a clean and professional learning environment, supporting the overall success of our students.
- Assist with non-teaching/instructional tasks as needed, contributing to the smooth operation of our learning center.
- A genuine passion for mathematics and working with students.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Exceptional math competency through at least Pre-Calculus, with a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and their applications.
- The ability to balance multiple tasks and priorities, ensuring a productive and efficient work environment.
- A willingness to learn and be trained, embracing ongoing professional development opportunities.
