About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Systems Engineer Integrated Product Team Lead to join our team at Raytheon. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and ensuring the successful execution of projects from development to production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of approximately 10-15 members, establishing meaningful and measurable goals and communicating effectively to ensure alignment with the department and center.
  • Collaborate with multi-discipline teams in the operation, testing, and troubleshooting of systems.
  • Provide independent health checks by evaluating program metrics.
  • Support Test Equipment Engineering program hiring goals and lead the onboarding of new section personnel.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including test plans, procedures, and reports.
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring the successful delivery of projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and eight (8) years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree and five (5) years of relevant experience.
  • Experience leading efforts as a program manager, IPTL, sub-IPTL, REA, and/or project team lead.
  • Experience with financial reporting activities, including Cost Accounting Management (CAM).
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance is required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous work experience developing artifacts in Gain Phase (IQ) analysis.
  • Experience with career development and personal skills development of team members.
  • Ability to obtain and work in Special Access Program Area(s).
  • Experience developing test equipment for production test environments.
  • Previous work experience developing artifacts as an electrical, software, mechanical, systems, or configurable logic engineer.
  • Experience working with Testability and cybersecurity.
  • Experience working in Agile development processes.
  • Experience working with program configuration management principles and tools, such as IMS, PMX tools, or tracking books.
  • Past engineering experience working in a matrix organization with multidiscipline design teams across multiple projects.
  • Experience with Earned Value Management System (EVMS) or similar budget tracking systems.
  • Knowledge of the Performance Development Process.
  • Working understanding of the TEE One Page Process.
  • Experience with proposal capture processes, including Basis of Estimates and White Sheet Development.
  • Experience with Estimate at Complete (EAC) processes and Engineering Labor Forecasting (ELF) System.
  • Knowledge of business and program improvements through process improvement methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the whole lifecycle process from requirements development to maintenance and sustainment.
