Role Responsibilities
As a Medical Laboratory Technologist, you will:
- Conduct precise laboratory tests and analyses in a timely manner.
- Take charge of departmental responsibilities in the absence of supervisory staff.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to patient test results.
- Execute urgent procedures within established timeframes.
- Utilize critical thinking skills to interpret patient results effectively.
- Monitor pending logs and address any outstanding tasks.
- Adhere to quality control protocols and manage critical laboratory specimens.
Qualifications Required
- An Associate Degree in a relevant field is mandatory.
- A Bachelor's Degree in Medical Technology is preferred.
- Less than one year of experience in a laboratory setting.
- A valid State of Florida Technologist License or the ability to obtain one.
- Licensure in one or more clinical specialty areas is advantageous.
