About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Services Foreperson to join our team in Syracuse, NY. As a key member of our environmental services team, you will be responsible for managing crews in the field and ensuring that environmental projects and emergency responses are completed safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee environmental projects, including tank cleaning, plant shutdown, spill cleanup, and emergency response.
  • Supervise confined space entries and emergency response operations, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
  • Allocate and verify equipment availability for projects, ensuring that all necessary tools and resources are on-site.
  • Accurately complete and submit daily work sheets for proper billing to customers.
  • Train and mentor Environmental Technicians, promoting a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Manage safety performance and reporting, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Minimum 1+ years of experience in a leadership/crew lead role required.
  • Minimum 2+ years of Environmental Field, Construction, or related field experience required.
  • Emergency response experience is preferred.
  • Confined Space Entry knowledge is an asset.
  • Valid driver's license and clean 3 years MVR required.
  • Ability and willingness to travel and work on a rotating on-call basis.
