Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting: Apply principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and corporate entity and partnership returns.
  • Tax Preparation and Planning: Prepare business income tax returns and statements for audits, and manage tax administration responsibilities required of assigned accounts.
  • Client Relationship Management: Engage regularly with clients and maintain strong relationships, providing guidance and assistance as needed.
  • Staying Current with Tax Laws and Regulations: Stay current with knowledge of federal and state tax laws, regulatory and compliance requirements, and tax planning techniques.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 8 years accounting experience, with a minimum of 5 years business tax/entity returns experience.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of tax law and statutory regulations, experience with GAAP, and proficiency in MS Word and Excel, including ability to use macros, pivot tables, and query.
  • Personal Qualities: Demonstrated critical thinking skills, ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, and demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
