Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance of all hospital equipment, including routine inspections and repairs.
  • Operation of plant and auxiliary equipment, ensuring efficient and safe operation.
  • Repair and maintenance of refrigeration equipment, compressors, pumps, and HX units, to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Use of welding tools, electrical or gas, to perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Use of machine shop equipment to fabricate and repair equipment parts.
  • Installation of new equipment and repair of existing equipment, to ensure seamless operation.

Requirements:

  • Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
  • HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience.

Certifications and Licenses:

  • EPA CFC Universal Certification.
  • DL-Valid Drivers License Class C.

Preferred Experience:

  • Actual job experience in journeyman standing.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Stationary Engineer Skill Set.

Work Schedule:

  • Varied schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week.
