Job Title: V&I Assembler

At Permobil, we're seeking a skilled V&I Assembler to join our team in Belleville, IL. As a key member of our Valve & Inflate department, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble airflow control valve components, including inserting the IFC to the Quad Select, applying the front and back housing with rivets, and assembling the IFC, O-ring, and knobs.
  • Install valves, grommets, clean cushions, snaps, and inflate cushions.
  • Assist in training and orienting new employees, communicate effectively with team leaders, and participate in cross-training efforts.
  • Perform all functions of the valve and inflate and IFC department, including valving, inflating, cleaning, and ensuring FIFO on materials.
  • Inspect product for defects and report issues immediately to prevent problems from growing out of control.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be skilled in all positions within the assigned department.
  • Hand and tool dexterity.
