Director of Finance with Real Estate Experience

We are seeking a seasoned Director of Finance to join our dynamic team, offering a competitive salary, a bonus structure, and a clear path to advancement towards a Chief Financial Officer role.

This pivotal position will start by overseeing corporate accounting, financial reporting, tax reporting, and management of private equity and real estate investments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee corporate accounting, financial reporting, and tax reporting
  • Manage private equity and real estate investments
  • Develop and implement financial planning and analysis strategies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth
  • Ensure compliance with REIT regulations and corporate accounting standards
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum of 10 years' relevant accounting experience in the real estate industry
  • CPA designation preferred
  • Experience with open-ended funds and fair value GAAP reporting highly regarded
  • Strong knowledge of REIT compliance and experience with corporate accounting
  • Understanding of payroll and benefits within an accounting framework
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively across all levels of an organization
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
