Bishop Lifting Products Inc is seeking a skilled Shop Hand to join our team. As a Shop Hand, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Equipment Maintenance: Assist in the performance of inspections, testing, and preventative maintenance of company equipment supplied for rental and/or sale, and possible service of customer equipment.
- Inventory Management: Assist in inventory control, counts, reorganizations, and ensure accurate documentation is used throughout the process.
- Warehouse Operations: Pull orders for delivery, assist in load testing as needed, and unload/load trucks for delivery/receiving.
- Customer Service: Supervise the accurate completion of shipping, packing, crating, and documentation, as per customer specs.
- Operational Skills: Ability to operate a forklift, pallet jack, and Manlift equipment. (OJT provided)
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain work area clean and free from known hazards.
- Communication Skills: Good verbal communication skills and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Physical Demands: Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test, physical, and background check.
