Robotics Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Robotics Tech is a key member of our team at Radial Inc., responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our automated material handling systems. This role requires a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently with minimal guidance.
Key Responsibilities- Perform audits, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of automated material handling system components
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings and diagnostic tools
- Assist other technicians and/or mechanics in the repair and maintenance of robotics
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment according to safety and quality procedures
- Troubleshoot Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and external Input/output (I/O) devices
- Provide resolutions to mechanical, technical/controls issues
- Participate in cleaning the robotic brushes/lenses and maintenance area as appropriate
- Complete work orders, other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures
- Adept at analyzing and resolving mechanical and technical issues
- Excellent hand and eye coordination skills
- Ability to read, recognize, write, and follow applicable numbers and directives (verbal and written) in English
- Command of basic math skills to ensure accurate inventory
- Ability to maintain a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends as necessary
- Command of safety procedures (including lock-out/tag-out)
- Robotics certification is a plus
- CMMS experience
- Network troubleshooting a plus
- Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Experience working with and managing outside vendors, customers, and business partners
- Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
This position is not remote. Travel is not required.
