Job Overview

The Robotics Maintenance Technician III is responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of automated material handling systems within the Fulfillment Center. This involves performing audits, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of system components, as well as providing technical support and guidance to other technicians and mechanics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the repair and maintenance of robotics and automation systems
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using technical drawings and diagnostic tools
  • Perform audits, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of automated material handling system components
  • Provide technical support and guidance to other technicians and mechanics
  • Participate in cleaning the robotic brushes/lenses and maintenance area as appropriate
  • Complete work orders, other written or computer-based documents according to established procedures

Qualifications:

  • Adept at analyzing and resolving mechanical and technical issues
  • Excellent hand and eye coordination skills
  • Ability to read, recognize, write, and follow applicable numbers and directives (verbal and written) in English
  • Command of basic math skills to ensure accurate inventory
  • Ability to maintain a flexible schedule including holidays and weekends as necessary
  • Command of safety procedures (including lock-out/tag-out)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Robotics certification is a plus
  • CMMS experience
  • Network troubleshooting a plus
  • Proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Experience working with and managing outside vendors, customers, and business partners
  • Previous industry-based experience
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
