About the Role

As a Content Strategist, you will leverage your expertise in private funds legal practice and investment management regulations to enhance our Practical Guidance offerings.

You will be responsible for crafting, developing, and refining insightful content while collaborating with attorney authors. Staying informed on the latest legal and industry trends will be crucial to driving strategic initiatives and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will work cross-functionally to enhance user experience and deliver valuable solutions to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engaging in collaborative projects to support management and various business partners, including Sales, Marketing, and Technical Product Managers.
  • Aligning with the organization's strategic objectives and overseeing the comprehensive development of content and features in your practice area.
  • Producing and revising authoritative, accurate, and current practical insights.
  • Managing contributions from external authors and fostering strong author relationships.
  • Utilizing customer feedback to develop the most beneficial legal content, tools, and resources.
  • Keeping abreast of trends and news in your practice area to enhance our offerings.
  • Understanding the value proposition of Practical Guidance and representing the content and practice area within the organization and externally.
Requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and online legal research tools.
  • A J.D. or equivalent law degree with at least one active bar accreditation in a U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Demonstrated experience in private funds or alternative investments at a large law firm or within a private investment firm's legal department.
  • Expertise in U.S. investment management laws and other regulations affecting private funds.
  • Exceptional writing and analytical capabilities.
  • Recent experience in drafting legal publications, newsletters, or presentations.
