Position Overview:
As a vital member of our rehabilitation team, the Speech Language Pathologist evaluates, formulates, directs, and implements medically prescribed speech and language therapy programs aimed at restoring function and preventing disability due to illness or injury.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patient needs and establish effective treatment plans.
  • Guide patients in achieving their highest potential and reintegrating into society while accommodating their individual capabilities.
  • Engage in administrative responsibilities and contribute to departmental initiatives focused on performance enhancement, infection control, safety, and educational programs.
  • Mentor and orient new staff and students, and assume supervisory duties in the absence of the designated supervisor.

Qualifications:
Required:
  • Graduation from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology training program.
  • Possession of a valid California Speech Language Pathologist License upon hire.
  • Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred:
  • California Children's Services (CCS) paneling upon hire.
  • Experience in acute care settings, outpatient services, or with adult and pediatric populations.
