Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Staff Nurse to join our team at The Blake. As a Staff Nurse, you will provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders, while delivering world-class care and service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical treatment and administer medication according to physician orders within the scope of applicable board and state regulations for assisted living.
  • Deliver exceptional care and service to residents, remaining flexible and adaptable to changing situations.
  • Assist residents with memory and performance improvement programs.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with a team to make decisions, prioritize tasks, document clearly, and follow through on assignments.
  • Serve as charge nurse on shift for personal assistants under the direction of the Wellness Leadership team.
Requirements
  • A caring heart and willingness to serve others.
  • Current license for Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) issued by the state.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Assisted living or long-term care experience preferred.
  • Current First Aid certification preferred.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
