Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Production Operator 2nd Shift to join our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently, meeting production standards, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate all manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently, following established procedures and guidelines.
  • Meet production standards on specific assignments within required time, ensuring high-quality products and efficient production processes.
  • Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned space, adhering to safety and quality standards.
  • Responsible for safety and quality throughout the production process, including following all safety procedures and performing manual and visual quality inspection of products as assigned.
  • Responsible for cleaning equipment and area before, during, and after shift, ensuring a safe and efficient production environment.
  • May be responsible for sorting product as needed to ensure quality shipments, adhering to quality control standards.
  • Assist in changeovers when needed, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient production processes.
  • Is responsible for cross-training across multiple operations such as presses, palletizers, seamers and/or slitters, expanding knowledge and skills.
  • Responsible for working directly with team members to meet all safety, quality, and productivity goals, promoting a collaborative and supportive work environment.
  • Performs other duties as required by Supervisor or Manager, adapting to changing production needs and priorities.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent, with a strong foundation in mathematics and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment, with a proven track record of meeting production standards and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Must have the willingness and ability to effectively communicate with peers, supervisors, and other levels of the organization to create a positive, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to read and write in English, with a strong understanding of safety procedures and quality control standards.
  • Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, and taking measurements, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Must be willing to work evening or night shift and weekends as needed, based on business needs and production requirements.
