About the Role

We are seeking a skilled MIG welder to join our team at SPX Technologies. As a welder, you will play a critical role in meeting on-time delivery and exceeding customer satisfaction. Your primary responsibility will be to complete a variety of tasks, primarily performing MIG tack welding operations, to create functional metal components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety: Follow all safety rules and adhere to our core values, maintaining a clean and orderly work environment.
  • Quality: Confirm material, sizes, and parts match work orders, ensuring all parts and surfaces are free from defects.
  • Delivery: Weld to specifications, working with mild steel and stainless steel, including vertical up, and read blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
  • Culture: Demonstrate a desire to do the right thing, be a team player, and assist other departments as needed.
Requirements
  • 1 year of MIG welding experience in a production/manufacturing environment.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • BASIC math skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality.
  • Forklift certification.
  • Overhead crane operation.
