Bakery Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team at Market of Choice in South Eugene. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating high-quality baked goods that delight our customers.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and bake a variety of sweet and savory pastries, breads, and desserts
- Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of recipes and ingredients
- Ensure a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
- At least 1 year of professional baking experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting production deadlines and maintaining quality standards
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, and weekends
- Competitive hourly rate, starting at $15/hour and up to $18.50/hour depending on experience
