Your Impact at Intertek:
  • Conduct various geotechnical and construction service tasks, including field logging and laboratory analysis.
  • Prepare geotechnical reports.
  • Evaluate project plans and specifications created by others.

Qualifications for Success:

  • Familiarity with engineering software such as GeoStudio, APILE, LPILE, GROUP, SHAFT, SLIDE, Settle3, and MSEW is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and listening) and interpersonal abilities are required.
  • Capability to interpret and understand work plans is necessary.
  • Willingness to work off shifts and overtime as required.
  • Travel may be necessary up to 10% of the time.
  • A valid Driver's License and a dependable driving record are required.
Physical Demands:
  • Ability to lift, move, push, and pull weights between 30 to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Capability to receive detailed information through oral communication and discern sounds.
  • Ability to kneel and squat occasionally.
  • Capacity to walk and stand for extended periods.
  • Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to climb occasionally.
