The Assistant Housekeeping Manager will oversee all housekeeping duties within Turnberry facilities, including three work shifts. This role supervises and inspects the work of mall cleaning staff who perform building service and related work for a safe and clean environment.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Assist the housekeeping manager and supervise housekeeping staff during duties.
  • Maintain supply inventory, including ordering and receiving.
  • Prepare and maintain necessary records and process weekly payroll.
  • Assist with hiring and firing of staff and retention.
  • Train new hires on and enforce Policy & Procedures.
  • Oversee safe use of cleaning equipment and supplies.
  • Keep inventory of mall-owned equipment.
  • Coach and counsel employees to ensure company policies are met.
  • Distribute and assign daily work to housekeeping attendants.
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness in all areas of the mall, including the Food Hall and outside areas.

**Primary Accountabilities:**

  • Ensure work is properly assigned to cover daily operations.
  • Ability to be present on the floor and hands-on if needed.
  • Motivate staff and supervisors to maintain positive employee morale.

**Requirements:**

  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • OSHA Certification preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Basic use of Microsoft Word Products.

**Knowledge and Skills:**

  • Ability to work under pressure and resolve problems.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Ability to be hands-on when needed.
  • Great communication skills.
