Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join our team at Ferrovial. As a key member of our Infrastructure Management department, you will be responsible for providing estimating leadership and expertise to develop and implement systems and processes required to deliver cost-efficient and profitable project estimates in the public bid space.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct site assessments of proposed project areas to ensure accurate measurement of progress during execution.
  • Develop and implement systems and processes to ensure compliance with company standards and client requirements.
  • Request, track, and assemble pricing data from various sources, including in-house, subcontractor quotes, and industry sources.
  • Maintain base bid documents and organize estimate information while coordinating with the operations team on successful bids.
  • Provide leadership and expertise while validating project estimates and developing innovative means and methods for completing projects.
  • Develop, maintain, and leverage a database of internal project costs to facilitate improved estimating practices and accuracy.
  • Complete work under aggressive timelines while assisting in developing tender win strategies.
  • Assist Business Development, Finance, and Operations as needed.
Requirements
  • Associates Degree (Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 years' prior experience in a lead estimating role in a construction, manufacturing, or public bid environment required.
  • Experience with public and private sector bidding, with a strong background in Transportation Infrastructure.
  • Previous experience in working with large complex proposals and Public Private Partnership experience is highly regarded.
