Position Overview

The Operations Branch Leader is responsible for overseeing the daily functions of a branch to ensure exceptional service quality and adherence to safety protocols. This role requires providing guidance, technical expertise, and leadership to guarantee compliance with safety regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the financial performance, including profits and losses, in alignment with the established budget.
  • Ensure a safe environment for team members, customers, and equipment.
  • Promote and cultivate a culture of safety across the entire Customer Service Center.
  • Oversee the hiring and cross-training of staff in various operational areas.
  • Conduct timely and precise forecasting and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant state, federal, and local regulations, as well as company policies.
  • Perform annual audits of facilities under supervision.
  • Collaborate with supervisors to enhance processes, service quality, and operational efficiencies.
  • Report all incidents and accidents as per directives.
  • Drive sales activities and customer retention initiatives.
  • Execute additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Possession of a valid CDL B license with necessary endorsements (hazmat, tanker, air brake) as required.
  • A minimum of 5 years in an operations leadership capacity, ideally within the industry.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong ability to complete projects and tasks effectively.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Professional demeanor while representing the organization.
  • Flexibility to work during holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, suitable for a professional business environment.
  • Experience in leading meetings and training sessions, as well as presenting to senior management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
