We are in search of a Customer Support Solutions Engineer who possesses a strong passion for productivity infrastructure, customer service, and automation.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring and managing customer requests, troubleshooting and resolving issues, automating support processes, creating runbooks, enhancing and maintaining support tools, comprehending our product offerings, and persistently seeking opportunities to elevate the engineering support experience.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in customer-facing engineering support roles, the ability to build comprehensive self-service knowledge bases, and a solid understanding of infrastructure, internal tools, platforms, and cloud computing.
We seek an individual who excels in deciphering and addressing complex and ambiguous challenges, always striving for improvement.
As an Engineer in this capacity, we require a candidate who can grasp our intricate offerings at a profound technical level, engage actively in the development of our support automation tools, and propose product and operational enhancements based on customer interactions.
Key Qualifications:
You should have a minimum of 3 years of professional experience in support engineering.
A robust understanding and practical experience with version control systems, particularly GitHub, including branching, merging, pull requests, review processes, and conflict resolution.
A strong foundation in Java, complemented by a thorough understanding of the Spring Boot framework is essential.
You should excel in developing tools and scripts, actively seeking process improvement opportunities through automation.
A solid understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) practices and their significance is required.
You should be adept at providing exceptional customer support within a complex organization, ideally as part of a centralized team, with a strong focus on customer experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with an appreciation for comprehensive documentation.
Strong collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams are necessary.
A passion for technical documentation and tutorials, along with a deep understanding of what constitutes an effective knowledge base, will be advantageous.
Exposure to Linux and Docker, along with experience working with Debian / Artifacts.
A data-driven decision-making approach and experience in building dashboards.
Experience in supporting infrastructure automation and familiarity with Zendesk or other ticketing systems for administration.
A passion for observability tools and best practices will be a plus.
