Position Overview:

In response to the evolving electric vehicle landscape in the United States, CATK is in search of a skilled and knowledgeable Information Security Specialist to enhance our local team. In this role, you will be instrumental in the design, implementation, and upkeep of our security infrastructure. Your duties will encompass configuring security solutions, performing system access reviews, and promptly addressing security incidents to safeguard our systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fortify enterprise network systems utilizing advanced firewalls, intrusion detection systems, access controls, and encryption techniques.
  • Develop and enforce technical security policies and configurations for security solutions and equipment to minimize risks.
  • Conduct periodic access reviews to ensure compliance with security standards and appropriate access controls.
  • Oversee and maintain the information security framework, leveraging state-of-the-art security technologies and integration capabilities.
  • Formulate and execute rapid response plans for security incidents, performing comprehensive root cause analyses and implementing corrective measures.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to embed security protocols into technology projects and business processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Cyber Security Engineer role, with a focus on data protection and access management.
  • Preferred experience in overseeing information security technologies, demonstrating proficiency in managing security implementations and operations.
  • Ability to swiftly comprehend and align with business needs, translating them into effective security strategies that support organizational objectives.
  • In-depth knowledge of network security domains, including segmentation, VLANs, and VPNs, with the capability to design secure network architectures.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the capacity to evaluate complex security issues and devise effective solutions.
  • Familiarity with common web vulnerabilities (e.g., SQL injection, XSS) and understanding of attack methodologies to enable proactive threat detection and mitigation.
  • Excellent communication abilities and a collaborative mindset for working with diverse teams.
  • Willingness to maintain a full-time work schedule with regular in-person attendance.

Physical Demands:

  • Ability to navigate work environments, which may involve walking, standing, and climbing.
  • Flexibility to bend, kneel, or crouch, especially when inspecting installations or troubleshooting.
  • Capability to lift and carry moderate weights, typically ranging from 25 to 50 pounds.
  • Occasional lifting of heavier items may be necessary.
  • Ability to work in various settings, including offices, construction sites, and manufacturing facilities.
  • Willingness to travel to different job sites, which may require driving or other transportation methods.
