POSITION SUMMARY

The Bilingual Security Operations Manager is responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive security strategies to safeguard the well-being of employees, clients, visitors, and company assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate detailed reports and provide expert guidance to site leaders regarding security incidents, serving as a primary contact for issues such as theft, security breaches, fraud, workplace violence, and other security matters.
  • Collaborate with local management to ensure adherence to established security protocols and standards.
  • Conduct thorough security assessments and oversee the implementation of new security systems to ensure they meet both regulatory requirements and business objectives.
  • Deliver training and support to enhance security awareness across the organization, promoting a secure and profitable environment for employees and customers.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by the Vice President of Security to foster a safe and efficient workplace.
  • Provide strategic security advice related to cost management, problem resolution, contract evaluation, due diligence, and facility security design.
  • Conduct investigations as required.
  • Coordinate security measures for events to ensure safety while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Review and enhance security policies and procedures to improve overall safety and productivity within the workplace.
  • Engage with local, state, provincial, and federal advisory groups to stay informed about security-related developments and directives.

Required Education and Certifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Required Experience and Skills

  • A minimum of 7 years of experience in security management within a business context is preferred.
  • Commitment to ethical conduct and integrity.
  • Demonstrated experience in investigative processes.
  • Proficient in security training and awareness initiatives.
  • Strong grasp of security policies and operational procedures.
  • Experience managing critical incidents effectively.
  • Knowledge of relevant regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Understanding of information security principles.
  • Familiarity with both physical and technical security measures.
  • Technical expertise in security systems, including procurement and operational application.
  • Exceptional planning and organizational capabilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Fluency in both English and Canadian French is mandatory.

  • Willingness to travel as necessary for business purposes.
