Job Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a dynamic healthcare environment. As a CNA, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to deliver delegated care that is culturally sensitive and tailored to the individual needs of patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist patients with tasks outlined in their clinical competency assessment, including basic nursing skills, personal care skills, and basic restorative services.
- Practice and perform skills learned during CNA training and certification or basic nursing courses at an accredited school.
- Provide continuous safety observation and report to the Nurse Manager/Assistant Nurse Manager and RNs on duty.
Requirements:
- State of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Certification is required.
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA-approved equivalent is required within 90 days of hire.
- High School diploma or equivalent is required.
