ROLE DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a skilled Contact Center Agent I who will utilize their knowledge of CO-OP's services and products to deliver exceptional support to Credit Union employees and members. This role is crucial in achieving performance goals and advancing within the career path.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Handle incoming calls from members and utilize available tools to address inquiries effectively.
  • Maintain a high standard of service while meeting performance metrics.
  • Exhibit professionalism and composure in challenging situations.
  • Foster positive working relationships with team members.
  • Uphold a professional image of CO-OP's Call Centers.
  • Engage in ongoing training to enhance product knowledge and service skills.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS

  • Basic proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Capability to interpret information accurately and apply problem-solving skills.
  • Sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Regular tasks will involve reading, writing, performing basic arithmetic, and analyzing data for extended periods.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary, with some post-secondary education preferred.
