Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Piedmont Medical Care Corporation. As an integral part of our outpatient medical oncology department, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care and support.

About the Role
  • You will work closely with licensed personnel to provide top-notch patient services, including vital sign recordings, lab duties, and administrative tasks.
  • Assist with educational information distribution, coordinate prescription refills, and report test results as per physician instructions.
  • Maintain examination/treatment rooms, ensuring inventory of supplies and equipment is up-to-date.
  • Practice Standard Precautions, adhere to established risk management, HIPAA, and safety procedures.
  • Participate in meetings, in-services, and committees as required, and assist with administrative duties as needed.
Requirements
  • A High School diploma or GED is required; graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant program or completion of a Nursing Assistant program is also necessary.
  • No prior experience is required, but BLS certification and Certification from the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) or a similarly recognized certifying organization are mandatory.
Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position is $45,000 - $60,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
