ResponsibilitiesThis position involves assisting in the repair and overhaul of equipment, including refrigeration, heating, and ventilation systems. Our technicians provide service to customers by repairing and overhauling equipment, such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical and mechanical control devices.
They also perform general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, including air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machine equipment, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors.
Our technicians are responsible for preventative maintenance activities, diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies to ensure quality work performance for our customers.
QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need a high school diploma or equivalent, EPA certification, and a minimum of 3+ years of commercial refrigeration experience. Certification from an accredited vocational-technical or trade school is a plus.
You should also have a good driving record, be able to work independently, and be available for emergency on-call situations. Additionally, you must be able to lift up to 60 lbs. and sit or stand for several hours at a time.
