Soliant is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to join our team in a school district near the Santa Monica area. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing occupational therapy services to students with diverse needs.
Responsibilities- Evaluation and Assessment: Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of students' fine motor skills, sensory processing, and activities of daily living to identify areas of strength and weakness.
- Individualized Education Plans (IEPs): Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure students receive targeted support.
- Progress Monitoring: Regularly monitor and document student progress towards IEP goals, making adjustments as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Occupational Therapy Services: Provide occupational therapy in individual or group settings, focusing on enhancing students' functional abilities and promoting independence.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress notes, and communication with relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with teachers and staff to integrate therapy goals into classroom activities and routines, ensuring a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- IEP Meetings: Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to educational goal setting, ensuring students receive the support they need to succeed.
- Work Schedule: Full or part-time, Monday to Friday, school hours.
- Caseload: Discussed during interview.
- Work Environment: Onsite in a school district setting.

- Licensure: Current California State License.
- Education: Master's or PhD in Occupational Therapy.
