Job Details

ProCare Therapy is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to manage a K-12 caseload within a supportive district. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of occupational therapy experience and a passion for working with children.

  • Onsite location near the Santa Ana, California area
  • Start ASAP
  • $50-$60+ per hour (depends on experience)
  • Caseload information will be discussed more in depth with special services director during interview
Responsibilities
  • Conduct evaluations to determine students' abilities and limitations in various functional areas
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results
  • Implement evidence-based interventions to improve students' abilities to perform daily activities and participate in school-related tasks
  • Provide ongoing assessment and monitoring of students' progress toward goals
  • Collaborate with other members of the school team, including teachers, administrators, and parents, to ensure students receive comprehensive and coordinated services
  • Provide education and training to school staff on strategies to support students' occupational therapy goals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
  • Current state license in California
  • Experience working with school-aged children, including those with disabilities or special needs
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in occupational therapy
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
