Job Summary

CHS Inc. is a leading global agribusiness seeking a skilled Custom Applicator to join our Country Operations Division in Grand Forks, ND. As a key member of our team, you will promote the proper use of crop protection products, working closely with customers to educate them on products and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply fertilizer and crop protection products under general supervision, utilizing high-clearance sprayers or floaters as needed.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products and services.
  • Educate customers on product applications, techniques, and support services offered by CHS.
  • Collaborate with sales staff to ensure orders are accurate and customer needs are met.
  • Perform warehouse duties, including driving a loader, forklift, and performing maintenance tasks.
  • Lift and load products, with a maximum weight of 75 pounds, for up to 2 hours per day.
  • Pick up and deliver products to customers as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience in agriculture production, operations, and/or application.
  • Meet minimum age requirement.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to work additional hours to meet business demands.
  • High School diploma or GED preferred.
  • Applicator's license preferred.
  • Chemical application education preferred.
  • Previous application experience preferred.
  • Farming background preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and load up to 75 pounds.
