Key Responsibilities
  • Manage transportation projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement project plans, including transportation design, construction administration, and project management.
  • Interface with clients, including local governments and DOTs, to deliver projects and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation.
  • Lead and mentor project staff, providing guidance and support to ensure project success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements to ensure compliance and excellence in project delivery.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive transportation engineering experience, with a strong background in project management.
  • Active Professional Engineers license in Florida or ability to obtain within 6 months.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and customer satisfaction.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with municipalities, counties, FDOT, water management districts, and municipal utility districts.
  • Knowledge of transportation design applications and software, including Microstation and Open Roads Designer.
  • Participation in technical society organizations.
