Job Summary

Lamb Weston Holdings, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will assist in the installation of equipment and repair of machinery, ensuring the smooth operation of our plant.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist maintenance personnel in the installation of new equipment and repair of existing machinery.
  • Retrieve parts and tools for maintenance personnel as needed.
  • Lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery to ensure optimal performance.
  • Report any malfunctions of processing and/or packaging equipment to the lead or supervisor.
  • Utilize sound ergonomic practices to prevent injuries and ensure a safe working environment.
  • Work in temperature extremes and maintain a clean work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the maintenance team.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic training in Lockout/Tagout, Confined Space, Fall Protection, and Sanitation, including GMP training, chemical handling, and cleaning procedures.
  • Knowledge of the location of controls and emergency stop switches in the plant.
  • Ability to operate, inspect, maintain, setup, and cleanup of plant lubrication systems, bearings, and grease lines.
  • Good communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to follow written instructions and possess good math skills.
  • Ability to obtain a forklift operator's license.
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage time wisely.
