Job Summary

As a Certified Medical Assistant in our Cardiology department, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our healthcare team. Your primary responsibilities will include preparing patients for examinations, performing point-of-care testing, and administering medications as directed by our providers.

You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate patient records, communicating with patients and families, and ensuring a smooth patient flow throughout the office. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
  • Perform point-of-care testing and administer medications as directed
  • Maintain accurate patient records and communicate with patients and families
  • Ensure a smooth patient flow throughout the office

Requirements:

  • Medical Assistant Certification from an accredited program
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider Completion Card
  • Ability to pass colorblind testing to perform POC tests requiring color change
