Job Summary:

The Medical Assistant is a vital member of our dermatology team, providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced clinical environment. As a Medical Assistant at Forefront Dermatology, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced dermatologists, assisting with patient exams, procedures, and administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Room patients and document vital information
Scribe information for the dermatologist
Provide post-op wound care to patients
Draw blood and remove sutures
Clean and stock exam rooms
Schedule patient appointments

Assisting the Dermatologist:

Assist with procedures such as surgical photographs, biopsies, excisions, and injections
Maintain a clean and organized environment for patients and staff
Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and visitors
Work effectively as part of a team to provide exceptional patient care

Requirements:

Minimum post-high school education in a medical support field (Certified Medical Assistant, Licensed Practical Nurse, or Registered Nurse)
1-2 years of recent experience in a medical office in a similar capacity
Proficiency with computers, including Microsoft Office and Electronic Medical Record systems
Strong organizational and communication skills
