Community Mental Health Specialist

At EMS of Virginia (Educating, Mentoring, Success), we are seeking a qualified mental health professional to join our team. As a Community Based Qualified Mental Health Professional, you will provide intensive in-home and mental health skill building services to individuals in the greater Richmond area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one mental health counseling to clients in their homes or community settings
- Develop and implement individualized service plans to support clients' goals and needs
- Collaborate with clients, families, and community resources to ensure comprehensive support
- Conduct regular assessments and progress monitoring to inform treatment planning
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records
- Participate in regular supervision and team meetings to ensure high-quality services
Requirements:
- Registered QMHP with the Board of Counseling
- Experience working with adults and children with serious mental illness
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment
