Company Overview:
PrideStaff is currently seeking an Electromechanical Assembly Technician for a manufacturing organization. This role is designed as a temporary-to-permanent opportunity.

Position Summary:
The successful candidate will engage in the mechanical assembly of electromechanical systems, subassemblies, and mechanisms, adhering to production specifications and engineering directives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute mechanical assembly tasks for electromechanical components and systems, following detailed specifications and instructions.
  • Demonstrate high dexterity in assembly operations.
  • Utilize various tools and fixtures for precise positioning of components.
  • Adjust and secure assemblies using hand tools, pneumatic devices, and air vises.
  • Monitor inventory levels in the workspace and communicate material needs to supervisors.
  • Identify and report defective components or subassemblies.
  • Conduct basic testing to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.

Additional Duties:
  • Operate forklifts for material handling tasks.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive workplace culture.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in mechanical or electromechanical assembly.

Skills Required:
  • Understanding of basic assembly processes.
  • Ability to interpret verbal and written instructions, specifications, and blueprints.
  • Self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Adaptability to a high-performance work culture.

Work Environment:
The position is based in an indoor industrial setting, characterized by good ventilation and moderate noise levels.
