We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Senior Sales Associate at Rockler Woodworking and Hardware. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales growth, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcoming and engaging with customers, assessing their needs, and suggesting solutions to their problems.
  • Working with cash registers, processing payments, and recommending products to customers.
  • Cleaning and restocking the store throughout the day, including facing, dusting, and general housekeeping.
  • Ability to be a keyholder, working a 5-day retail schedule, and participating in team lifting.
  • Problem-solving and resolution skills, with the ability to network and build relationships with customers.

Requirements

  • Energetic, self-motivated, and excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs., and safely participate in team lifting.
  • Previous sales experience in a retail sales environment is a plus, but not required.
